About me

Ever since I was a little girl, I've always had a strong inclination towards sketching, drawing, colouring and painting. Over the years, I realized that an artist is what I want to be. Academically I completed a Diploma in Applied Art. Oil paintings always fascinated me, so took classes for that as well. And all along, my curiosity about religion had lead me into reading the scriptures regularly.

Understanding the meaning of the verses, had me urging to create art that would combine both my passions - one to paint and the other to explore spirituality through the scriptures. And by virtue of the Creator's divine design I happened to come across illuminated manuscripts!

I do believe that the religious scriptures of all religions carry divine messages, which need to be understood and put into practice in our daily lives. With my paintings, I endeavor to bring out these beautiful verses accentuated with miniature designs, from enclosures of Prayer rooms into homes as a whole.
